The boys made it five league wins on the bounce with an unconvincing win over bottom of the table Newbury Forest. Vieira put us 1 up with only 6 minutes on the clock following some fine work by Rubery, but that was as good as it got in a disappointing first 40 minutes and although seeing lots of possession Gos were unable to extend their advantage. Willcocks doubled the advantage after the break, but that apart defences dominated and both goalkeepers played their part in keeping the score at 2-0.

Not a display in keeping with recent performances and in the end Gos were grateful to come away with the win.
